About Me

I do not mass produce, preferring to create a small amount of high quality work.

Being born and raised in Barbados, the natural world, particularly the ocean, has always been a huge part of my life. This influence, as well as elements from primitive, tribal and organic forms are present in my shapes, forms and themes. I have complete respect and reverence for the skills and work produced by ancient cultures and I try to use that as a creative base for my work .

While wood is often the start point for my designs, I frequently blend metals and other man made and natural materials into the pieces I produce.
